Richa Chaddha and Ali Fazal, the popular couple are finally set to enter wedlock on October 4, Tuesday. They have recently shared first official photos from their mehendi and sangeet ceremony. The couple took to Instagram to share a bunch of photos from the pre-wed celebrations in Delhi. They show them dancing together, getting their hands decorated in henna, getting showered in flowers and more.
The first picture shared by Ali has him dancing like no one’s watching with his fiancée Richa. In the next photo, he has an unusual expression on his face as he sits down for some of his wedding rituals. The photo that followed had the Mirzapur actor being showered with rose petals. Richa looked gorgeous in the click where she is seen blowing a kiss. In one of the photos, Richa looks at her fiancé closely as they sit for the pre-wedding ceremony.
For the ceremony, Richa wore a pink and baby blue outfit with off-shoulder sleeves and fish scale-style top. She styled her hair in pretty waves and wore a colourful necklace. Ali, meanwhile, wore a white angrakha designed by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla.
Sharing the photos, Ali just shared a kissy-face emoji and a white heart emoticon. He also used their wedding hashtag ‘#RiAli’. Earlier, inside photos from the ceremonies were shared by the couple’s friends on Instagram.
The pictures got a lot of love from Ali’s Mirzapur co-actor Shweta Tripathi Sharma, Sayani Gupta, Swara Bhasker, Sharib Hashmi, and Renuka Shahane. Sayani commented on the photos, “Too much cute.” Neil Nitin Mukesh wrote, “Congratulations to you both dear Richa and Ali”.
On Saturday, Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal shared similar pictures from their cocktail party in which they can be seen looking adorable together. In the pictures, Richa looks stunning in a golden saree from the shelves of Kresha Bajaj and Ali, on the other hand, looks handsome in a sherwani designed by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. Sharing the pictures, Richa wrote, “I hide YOU in my eyes – Rumi #RiAli blessed,” while Ali dropped a heart emoticon in the caption.
Soon after they shared the post, their industry friends flooded the comment section. Sonakshi Sinha, commented, “Congratulations you two,” Shruti Haasan wrote, “Congratulations you two!!! Wishing you all the love light and happiness,” while others dropped heart and love-struck emoticons.
The duo was initially meant to be wedded in April 2020, but owing to Covid restrictions and lockdowns, the wedding was positioned twice over. They first met on the sets of Fukrey in 2012 and soon fell in love.
