Actor Amitabh Bachchan has been tested positive for the coronavirus for the second time again. He took to his twitter account and wrote “I have just tested CoViD + positive .. all those that have been in my vicinity and around me, please get yourself checked and tested also..”
Today morning, the actor revealed in his blog that he managed to get infected again despite numerous precautions, such as two doses of the vaccine (plus a booster) and refraining from interacting with the public. “Covid did win and come out victorious,” he wrote. In a tweet, he took a dig at his plans and how Covid changed them for him. “I had plans to sprint, but God willed otherwise and I am standing at the same spot today,”. “To them that have sent me their concern and prayers…their love…and the immense heart filled grace for my recovery, I give my folded hands in grateful acknowledgement will ever be touched by gratitude… your benevolence shall ever remain within me and your dedicated care, a never ending river of love” he added.
Back in 2020, when Big B tested COVID positive, he was hospitalised and a spokesperson from the hospital had confirmed that he had to undergo extensive tests. He currently hosts the 14th season of the popular quiz reality TV show Kaun Banega Crorepati and is looking forward to the release of his latest film ‘Brahmastra’ alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
