Prime Minister Narendra Modi today (November 24) will virtually address a gathering organised in Goa as part of the ‘Rozgar Mela’ by the state government in which about 1,250 recruits would be handed appointment letters for various positions in different departments, said Chief Minister Pramod Sawant.

CM Pramod Sawant said appointment letters would be handed over to selected youths for recruitment in departments like fire and emergency services,radiographers, police services, agriculture departments, teachers, nurses, doctors, pharmacists, planning and statistics as part of the employment fair, while speaking to the media.

“PM Narendra Modi will virtually address a gathering during the Rozgar Mela function scheduled to be held at Darbar Hall of Raj Bhavan in Dona Paula near Panaji at 11:00 am on Thursday,” CM Sawant said.

PM will address the gathering for around 20 minutes, said a senior official from the state government.

On Tuesday, PM Modi had distributed more than 71,000 appointment letters to recruits via video conferencing from New Delhi as part of the employment fair. Physical copies of the appointment letters will be handed over at 45 locations across nation, except in Himachal Pradesh and Gujrat where the Model Code of Conduct is in force.
